Russian security forces have detained a man who owned a house where a map detailing the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York was reportedly found, the Russian state owned news agency Novosti reported on Monday, quoting a source in the Russian special services.

A map showing the strikes against the US World Trade Center with the word "jihad" written on the other side of the map, was found in a cache in the detained man's house in the Chechen town of Argun.

Operatives from the Federal Security Service, the Interior Ministry and the prosecutor's office took part in the operation to detain the man.
